About
Me
I studied acting at Emory University where I received my BA summa cum laude with highest honors in Theatre Studies. Since then, I have continued to act locally in the Atlanta film and theater community as well as work behind the camera after receiving my MFA in Directing for Film and Video from Columbia College Chicago. I have studied improv and sketch writing with Dad’s Garage, stand-up comedy with Lace Larabee’s Laugh Lab Comedy Class, and the Meisner Technique at Pinch ‘n’ Ouch Theatre and Drama Inc. Currently, you can see me perform in Atlanta as part of the improv comedy group Au Guys.
In 2016, I co-founded the production company Critical Crop Top Media, with which I have written, directed, and performed in films like 80s Dating Video Remix, Vera's Workplace Sensitivity Training, and The Mother Load Web Series and in Critical Crop Top's live sketch comedy shows. My films have screened at Atlanta ShortsFest, Women's Comedy Film Festival, NewFilmmakers New York, Chattanooga Film Festival, Macon Film Festival, and the New Mavericks Film Series. My film The Parts That Stay, won best comedy short film and best Georgia short film at the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival in 2021. I now serve as executive producer for Critical Crop Top Media which continues to produce films, series, and podcasts. When not hustling to get my next project off the ground, I teach film editing at The Georgia Film Academy. My latest film, Could This Have Been An Email is currently touring the festival circuit and my next film, A Grim Diagnosis is in post production.
